Terms and Conditions


The full terms and conditions for Stacie- Licious cakes are detailed below.


Please note that by paying your non-returnable deposit you are accepting these terms and conditions.


Deposit

No cake booking is secured into our diary until the deposit has been received.

No cake will be released until the outstanding balance has been paid by the date agreed.

Deposits are accepted via bank transfer, PayPal, card or cash.

Please note that all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable so please double check your dates and arrangements prior to securing your booking.

In the event that we are unable to fulfill your order due to unforeseen circumstances you will be notified at the earliest opportunity and your deposit will be refunded in full.


Wedding Cake deposits


We require a 50% deposit to secure your wedding cake bookings.


Celebration Cake deposit


A £30 deposit is required to secure all celebration cake bookings.


Delivery

Once your cake is ordered we will agree a collection date and time.

Delivery: at the time of booking we will gather all the details of your venue and time for the cake to be delivered. A delivery charge is applied and is based upon mileage and time taken to set up your cake at the venue.

We endeavour to deliver your Cake in perfect condition, once we have left the venue we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to your cake. We advise that you have someone present to check your cake once it’s been set up and before we leave the venue.


Collection

When travelling with your cake in a car we advise that it is placed on a flat surface either the foot well of the passengers side or a flat boot. We highly recommend that you do not travel with your cake on the passenger seat or on someone’s lap due to the possibility of it sliding and damage being caused. We also advise that the car is cool with the heating off

Please note that once you’ve left with your cake we cannot hold responsibility for any damage caused. Should you need any repair to your cake once you’ve left we may be able to offer this service based on availability however the charge will be incurred


Storage

We recommend that your cake is stored in a cool dry room. Once cut store your cake in an airtight container and consume within three days.


Non-edible items

Any non-edible items that are used in the design of your cake will be noted for you at the point of collection or delivery of your cake and it is then your responsibility to remove these items prior to cutting and serving your cake. In most cases these items include dowels which are used to support your cake, ribbons, Wire which is used for sugar flowers arrangements and wooden toothpicks used to support some items.
